We’re excited to share a milestone moment with you: the launch of the diyPresso Two — the world’s first DIY barista machine.
Since the very beginning of the diyPresso project, one question has echoed from every corner of the community: “Will there be a version with a steam wand?” Today, the answer is finally yes!
Meet the diyPresso Two
The diyPresso Two builds on the foundation of the diyPresso One, with one major upgrade: a fully integrated, joystick‑controlled steam wand.
To make room for the steam system, the machine is just 6 centimeters wider — still compact, clean, and unmistakably diyPresso.
Behind the front panel, a 1200W thermoblock powers the steam, activated by a dedicated button next to the screen. A micro pump, controlled by the joystick, delivers pressure on demand.
Just like the brewing system, all steam parameters are adjustable, and the entire codebase remains fully open‑source.
And yes — even with the added components, the diyPresso Two is designed so you can assemble it yourself without being a professional DIYer.

We’ll be unveiling the diyPresso Two at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, April 16–18. If you’re attending, come say hi — we’d love to meet you in person and serve you a milk‑based coffee straight from the new machine.
