One of my main motivations for looking into the diyPresso is to avoid plastic parts in my coffee machine, especially in contact with the hot water. Is the tubing in your hardware kit plastic-free? Are there options to replace plastic parts if necessary?

Hi Kai,

Thanks for your question.

Coffee part:

- From reservoir to pump: silicone rubber

- From pump to boiler: stainless steel tube and copper tube

- Boiler: copper

- Boiler to E61: copper

Steam part:

- From reservoir to pump: silicone rubber

- From pump to heating block: silicone rubber

- From heating block to steamer: silicone rubber

Resume: There is no plastic in the tubing.

Hope this helps!

best regards
